Chairmans' Message

Assar Johansson Primary school chairperson for and on behalf of the Management Committee, I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the Management Committee and the teaching fraternity for their effort shown in promoting education system in our community and the country Kenya .

Such as education for all (EFA) by 2015 and promoting girl child education in our community and the entire country.  By focussing on group discussion of the teachers and the community, education for all which its goal is to help eradicate poverty and ignorance would ensure that all the school going children get access to quality education.

Through the newly introduced Free Primary Education by NARC Government in the year 2003 has uplifted the standard of education in our community.

Despite several challenges caused by the Free Primary Education the community has continued to support the school.

As the chairman of the school management committee, I shall ensure that committee members participates in the procurement committee and with the headteacher  to ensure that the funds provided by the government for purchase are utilized well and wisely.

I’ll make sure that the community take the leading role  that the pupil’s enrolment in school is maintained and the girl child education is enhanced by all  standards; being gender sensitive.

As the chairman of the management committee I would like to ask all the stake holders in education e.g well wishes ,NGOs  particularly  the sponsor which is Maranatha Faith Assembly to keep on supporting us since Free Primary Education(FPE) has so many challenges which the school faces.

Thank You

Chairman Management Committee
